Stall Holder Info

*If your having a stall, please have a quick read of the information below…

..it will REALLY help you on the day.

* If you will be selling large items in our ‘Large Items Area‘ (eg. cots, prams rockers etc), please go to the bottom of this page and click on the ‘Large Items form’ button and print out this form for EVERY large item you have.

Setting up & packing up:
Arrival time for sellers is between 6.30am to 7am
. Please no later as we like to be organised and this avoids a stressful start for yourself. If you are not here by 7.40am we may think your not coming and give your table away. If you get lost on your way to the hall, please call me for directions and I will keep your table for you. (0402 432 743)
Upon arrival each stall holder may park in the drop-off section of the hall entry, unload their goods and carry them into the hall. You may choose your own table upon arrival, except for reserved tables which will be signed.
Stall holders should be ready for sale at 8am sharp and trade until 11am. Pack up is no earlier please, and we try to be gone by 12pm.
If you are a business and will be attending the Market to promote your business (not selling children’s items) please write this in the ‘comments’ section when you go to book, and I will put you with all other businesses. This way you won’t go un-noticed or be lost in all the children’s items.

Tables:
If you have a combined booking of 3 or 4 tables and you and your friends are all together, you may only use 2 racks for either end of your joining tables. (no racks in between) You are not to move your table at any time unless notifying staff organisers first.
Please bring a table cloth to cover your trestle table. This makes the display of your stall more welcoming!
Table size is approximately 1m x 2m.
An area at the front of your table on the floor will be usable for you to display items, though must be kept tidy throughout the duration of the market, having easy access for the customers to approach your table. Baskets are a great idea for displaying items in, with prices OR sizes on each. Stall holders may be asked to move items at the discretion of the market organisers as a matter of safety. We provide the chairs for you.
If you won’t be needing a table, just the space only, please write in the ‘comments’ section when you go to book….”no table needed thank-you”.
If you would like to request a specific table, this is only possible if you are a regular stall holder. (please state in ‘comments’ section when making your booking)

Clothes racks:
Each stall is permitted two hanging racks or clothes drying racks to place either side of your table. (BYO racks! Sorry, we don’t have any for hire)

Large items area:
Large items are usually the first things to sell!
Stall holders are entitled to display there large items in the ‘large items area’. We do this as there is little room in between you and the stall holder next to you, & also customers know to go to this area first when they’re looking for big items (such as prams, cots, rockers etc) When you are done setting up your table on the day, please ensure each of your large items are clearly labelled with the ‘large item label’ & attached to it before opening time at 8am. Please copy these labels before SUNDAY’s Market, simply by clicking on ‘Large Items form’ on the bottom of this page….don’t forget)
You can change your price of your items at any time. If you are unsure of what price to put on your items, we suggest to wait and see what other sellers items are going for on the day & go from there.
Once you have sold your item, please ask staff to place a SOLD sticker on it if the buyer isn’t taking it home straight away. This will avoid confusion with other interested buyers.
No more than 5 large items per person are allowed in our large items area’.

Food and drinks:
Food and drinks are available on the morning from our wonderful local Lions Club team who cook up a sausage sizzle each market, and Ian will be there making his yummy coffee from his little van too!

Baby girls clothing

Stall hire includes:
- trestle table approx 1mx2m
- chair (more available if needed)
- large item area space (limit of 5 items depending on size and space on the day)
- Indoor cover
- Public Liability Insurance

Bookings & Cancellations:
Please notify Noosa Kids & Baby Market asap if you have made a booking and are no longer able to attend on the day and would like to cancel your stall booking. This leaves availability for others to take your place for a stall-very important!
Please email me if the market is fully booked, and we will put you on the ‘cancelation waiting list’. We will contact you as soon as there is a table available for you.
If you have only a couple of large items to sell and won’t be needing a table inside, please contact me to discuss a stall booking, as you may be able to drop your large items off with all their details on them, and staff will supervise and sell your items for you on the morning. This is only possible with having permission from NK&B Market organisers prior to the market day.

Refund policy:
WE DO NOT REFUND YOUR STALL BOOKING!
If stall holders are unable to make it on the day, there will be NO REFUND on your booking sorry, what ever the reason. You can however use your booking the following month ONLY or give your booking to a friend to use on that same month or the next month ONLY. Please advise us before Market day if so. No booking-no stall sorry…!

TIPS: (definitely worth reading)
Each stall holder is responsible for bringing their own change for their stall. (eg. $100-$150 in change and notes is usually plenty)
Do not over price! If you find things aren’t selling during the morning, mark your prices down, this is so you don’t have to take it all home again! The purpose is to get rid of it right!
You can either price items with small stickers OR make it up as you go along on the day!
Presentation can be important. Boxes or baskets are a great way to display your items, with either prices OR sizes written on them.
Most parents will be looking for a specific size for their child.

Large items generally are the first things to sell. Clothes are the last as there are so many to choose from.
Chat with staff if you need help on deciding on prices for your items.
The cleaner your items look, the better and quicker they’ll sell!
All items must be clean, in working order and include all parts. (notice to buyer must be given at time of purchase if parts are missing)
We suggest to sell according to the seasonal climate eg. summer clothes in summer-winter clothes won’t sell in summer and vice verse.
Please ensure all rubbish is cleaned up on vacating. This makes less work for all and is muchly appreciated.
Bringing a friend along for the morning to either share your table with , or they too can grab one to have along side of you for the morning, it’s a fun idea. (coffee and catch up we call it, whilst making a few extra $$!)
Remind our customers about our wonderful market that run’s every last Sunday of each month and encourage them to bring a friend next time! Flyers are available at the front of the hall and they can join our mailing list for our monthly friendly reminders.
