Stall Holder Info

*Please have a quick read of the ‘boring’ info below…it’ll  really help you on the day. (and me!)

Bookings & Cancellations:
Please notify Noosa Kids & Baby Market asap if you have made a booking and are no longer able to attend on the day and would like to cancel your stall booking. This leaves availability for others to take your place for a stall-very important!

Please email me if the market is fully booked, and we will put you on the ‘cancelation waiting list’. We will contact you as soon as there is a table available for you.

If you have only large items to sell and won’t be needing a table, please contact me to discuss a stall booking, as you may be able to drop your large items off with all their details on them, and staff will supervise and sell your items for you on the morning. This is only possible with having permission from NK&B Market organisers prior to the market day.

Setting up & packing up:
Arrival time for sellers is approx 7am, you can come earlier to avoid congestion, but please no later than 7.30am as we like to be organised and ready with our table lay-out. If you are not here by 7.40am we may think your not coming and give your table away.  If you get lost on your way to the hall (believe me this happens) then call me for directions and I will keep your table for you.

Upon arrival each stall holder may park in the drop-off section of the hall entry, unload goods and take into the hall.  Stall holders can choose their own table upon arrival, then before setting up inside can you please move your car for the next stall holder to do the same.

Stall holders should be ready for sale at 8am sharp and trade until 11am.  Pack up is no earlier please, and we try to be gone by 12pm.

Tables:
If you have a combined booking of 3 or 4 tables and you and your friends are all together, you may only use 2 racks for either end of your joining tables. (no racks in between) You are not to move your table at any time unless notifying staff organisers first.  If you are bringing your own table, please remember to do this with care, keeping in mind not to drag tables or items along timber floor.  Any damage done to the floor will result in stall holders having to pay for the re-surfacing of the floor.

Please bring a table cloth to cover your trestle table.  This looks much nicer!

Clothes racks and table/floor space:
Each stall holder is permitted two hanging racks or clothes drying racks (BYO) to place either side of your table.  An area at the front of your table on the floor will be usable for you to display items, though must be kept tidy throughout the duration of the market, having easy access for the customers to approach your table.  Baskets are a great idea for displaying items in, with prices or sizes in each. Stall holders may be asked to move items at the discretion of the market organisers as a matter of safety.

Refund policy:
Please choose wisely as we do not refund!  If stall holders are unable to make it on the day, there will be no refund on stall bookings sorry.  You can speak to organisers to arrange something for the next months market.

Large items area:
Stall holders are entitled to display their large items in the ‘large items area’.  When you are done setting up, please ensure each large item is clearly labelled with the ‘large item label’ attached.   This would be appreciated if you can copy these labels from our web page and have them filled out before the market.  Otherwise collect them from staff on the morning.  You can change your price of your items at any time.  Once you have sold your item, please  ask staff to place a SOLD sticker on it, to avoid confusion with other interested buyers.

Food and drinks:
Food and drinks are available on the morning, and also yummy coffee!

Baby girls clothing

Stall hire includes:
- trestle table approx 1mx2m
- chair (more available if needed)
- large item area space (limit of 5 items depending on size and space on the day)
- Indoor cover
- Public Liability Insurance

TIPS:

Each stall holder is responsible for bringing their own change for their stall.   (eg. $150 in change and notes is usually plenty)

Do not over price!  If you find things aren’t selling during the morning, mark your prices down, this is so you don’t have to take it all home again! The purpose is to sell!

You can either price items with small stickers OR make it up as you go along on the day!

Presentation can be important.  Shoppers can sometimes be lazy so display your items neat and clearly.  Boxes or baskets are great with either prices or sizes in each.  Most parents will look for the size of their child.

Large items generally are the first things to sell.  Chat with staff to get feedback on your item.

The cleaner your items look, the better and quicker they’ll sell!

All items must be clean, in working order and include all parts. (notice to buyer must be given at time of purchase if parts are missing)

Please ensure all rubbish is cleaned up on vacating. This makes less work for all and is muchly appreciated.

Bringing a friend along for the morning to either share your table with , or they too can grab one to have along side of you for the morning,  is a fun idea. (coffee and catch up we call it, whilst making a few extra $$!)

Remind our customers about our wonderful market that run’s every last Sunday of each month and encourage them to bring a friend next time!  Flyers available at the front of the hall and they can join our mailing list for our monthly friendly reminders.

Conditions:
The stall holder is responsible for the safety for her table/stall i.e. setting items up in a safe & secure manner to avoid accidents.  No responsibility is taken by the organisers for theft, loss or damage.  Stall holders are responsible for their own stall security and monies.  Stall holders can not sell anything unrelated to babies and kids.

The Noosa Kids & Baby Market does not accept any liability for the loss or damage of any kind suffered by any person who enters the Market area and all persons who enter the Market area do so at their own risk.  The stall holder agrees to indemnify the Noosa Kids & Baby Market against all claims for damages or injury to the property or person of any persons in respect of any claim made by any such person arising out of negligence on the part of the stall  holders or his agents or servants.

Have a fun morning and enjoy!

Thankyou for your support.  Without you our Sunday morning of fun wouldn’t be possible.
